Why would I create an account at "It's a Beautiful Thing"?

Creating an account is not required. However, there are certain benefits described below:

• When you return to make more purchases the shipping and billing information will already be filled in for you once you log into your account
• Those with accounts may be notified of specials not offered to customers without accounts.

How do I go about creating an account?

You can select the My Account at the top of every page. Or, after you have decided on what you'd like to purchase, click on Checkout. You will have a choice to either Create New Account or Place Order Without Account. By selecting Create New Account you will be go to a screen where you can create a Login and Password and then enter your billing and shipping information.

Here are the steps:

• Create an account there by supplying login, billing, and shipping information.
• Click on Save in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

Is there a way to create an account without making a purchase?

Yes. You can create an account by selecting the My Account link on any page.

Are you intending to add any more products in the future?

We are always looking for quality items and designs to add to our store, if there is an item you think we should carry, let us know.  We 'd love to get your feedback.

Is my transaction information is secure?

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts or scrambles your personal and credit card information before it is sent to us. This prevents anyone other than select persons at "It's a Beautiful Thing" from accessing it. We use a registered Rapid SSL Certificate to assure that your transactions are secure. You'll notice that on pages where secure information is collected the URL or address in your browser will start with https:// rather than just http://, signifying that these pages are secure. What credit cards do you accept?

At this time we accept Visa and Mastercard. We expect the activation process for Discover and American Express cards to be finalized within the next week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do I pay state sales tax on your products?

Clothing is exempt from tax so there is no tax on our products at this time. When more products are added only those with shipping addresses in Massachusetts pay state sales tax, which is 6.25%.
